Frequently asked questions

Is MEDORA available in English?
MEDORA is built for Slovak healthcare: speech recognition, the medical reports and the application itself are in Slovak, and coding follows the Slovak ICD-10 (MKCH-10) and the rules of Slovak health insurers. If you are interested in MEDORA for another language or market, write to us at info@medora.sk.
Do I need any special hardware or software?
A computer with a web browser and a good microphone is all you need. There is nothing to install — MEDORA runs directly in the browser.
Do I have to change my practice software?
No. MEDORA works alongside your existing system: you simply copy the finished report and paste it in. It works with eZdravie, JUVS and every outpatient system.
How accurate is the speech recognition?
MEDORA uses speech recognition optimised for Slovak, including specialist medical terminology. It knows the names of drugs, diagnoses and procedures, and it keeps improving.
Is patient data safe?
All sensitive data is encrypted and only you can access it. Sign-in is protected by a password and two-factor authentication. The system is GDPR-compliant.
Can other members of my team use MEDORA?
Yes. You invite them from the settings and choose their permissions. Every team member has their own login — at no extra cost, as part of a single plan.
Does MEDORA include insurance billing codes and reference data?
Yes. MEDORA automatically extracts ICD-10 diagnoses, medications and billing codes from the consultation or dictation. The clinical reference offers drug search, calculators and reference codes.
Can I customise the structure of the medical report?
Yes. MEDORA comes with ready-made templates (Standard, SOAP, short follow-up…) and you can create your own — you define the sections and their order.
